Hello, my name is Yusa Funatsu, a 20-year-old Japanese international student from Monash University Malaysia. I’ll be going to Monash University Clayton Campus on a campus exchange next semester. My dates aren’t fixed yet, but it will likely be from mid-February to around June. I’d love to find a home near Monash Clayton so that the commute is easy.
What I’m like
I’m quite shy at first and my English is still improving, but I’m polite, tidy, and easygoing. I enjoy sports even though I’m not especially good, and I like J-POP. I’m excited to explore Australia when uni work allows.
Home & pets
I don’t dislike animals, but I can be nervous around them at first. I’m not a fan of insects. No pet allergies that I know of.
Food
I don’t have medical dietary restrictions. I do have some picky tastes, but I’m happy to try new foods and learn. Uni life
During busy assignment periods I’ll be studying a lot and keeping a regular routine. I’m respectful of house rules and shared spaces.
What I’m hoping for
A safe, comfortable place near Monash Clayton, with a friendly host who can share a little local culture and tips for living in Melbourne.
