Hi! 😊 My name is Eden, I’m 26 yo female student from Korea.
I arrived in Australia in Feb 2025, I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Sports Science at Deakin University.
Before, I lived with a homestay family during my language studies in Canada, and it became one of my most meaningful experiences with a second family to me. That experience is why I’m hoping to find a similar kind of warm, genuine family connection here in Australia.
As an international student coming from a big family, especially around the end-of-year season, it's a season when international students like me need a family-like environment the most. While I can’t be with my family in Korea right now, I’m really hoping to find a home in Australia where I can build meaningful connections, share time together, and slowly put down roots.
I grew up as the eldest daughter in a Korean family with two younger sisters. I’m bright, neat, responsible, and easygoing, and I genuinely enjoy being part of a household rather than just renting a room. I love trying different sports and activities, used to play golf with my family, and my long-term dream is to become a sports physio.
I also enjoy cooking and would love to prepare meals 1-2 a day for me (and obviously love sharing them too, if that's okay). I have my own car, respect house rules and privacy, and always try to be considerate and tidy in shared spaces.
I’m really looking forward to finding a family where we can spend warm time together and create a home-like atmosphere 🤍
