Hi, I’m Abdel! I’m relocating from the UK to Melbourne as part of my joint PhD at the University of Melbourne and the University of Birmingham, researching radar systems and robotics.
I’m looking for a furnished room with my own bathroom. I can move in around 18–22 September 2026 and would ideally stay for 12–13 months.
I enjoy cooking, running, travelling and exploring new places. I value a friendly, considerate home where we can enjoy a conversation while respecting each other’s privacy and independence.
Reliable internet, air-conditioning and space for my desktop computer and monitor are important for my research. I would also need access to a kitchen and laundry facilities. I’m happy to prepare my own meals and eat halal food.
