Hi! I’m a 27-year-old girl from China, and I’ve recently arrived in Melbourne on a Working Holiday Visa.

I’m looking for a quiet and comfortable home where I can stay for a few months and experience everyday life in Australia. I’d especially love to live with a local family or an older couple, or someone living on their own, rather than in a big share house.

I’m a pretty easy-going and quiet person. I like cooking simple meals, going for walks, visiting museums and galleries, and exploring different parts of Melbourne. I also enjoy having a cup of tea and chatting about everyday things.

I lived in Germany for a year as an exchange student, so I’m used to living abroad and sharing a home with people from a different culture. I’m tidy, considerate and respectful of other people’s space. I’m also very happy to help with small things around the house.

My English is still improving, which is one of the reasons I’d really like to live with local people. I’d love to have a chance to practise English naturally and learn more about Australian life and culture.

I’m not looking for a party house — I’d much rather have a peaceful home and get along well with the people I live with.

And if you have a cat or a dog, I’d be very happy! I absolutely love cats and dogs and would be more than happy to have a furry friend around the house. 🐱🐶

I’m happy to pay rent and contribute to the household. I’m hoping to find a place where both sides feel comfortable and at home. :)
