Hi, I’m Mary!

I live with my husband and two adult children in a beautiful, leafy suburb just 12 km from Melbourne city. We come from a greek heritage and enjoy connecting with family as well as friends. Our home is in a great location—close to public transport, shops, cafes, parks, and everything you might need.

We have a couple of spare bedrooms and would love to host someone from another country and culture. I’ve hosted international students before from places like France, Vietnam, Thailand, Argentina, Germany, and more—and I’ve made lifelong friendships through it!

Our home is two-storey with 5 bedrooms and plenty of space to relax or study. We have a shared bathroom downstairs, and you’re welcome to use the quiet study space upstairs or study in your own room. We have heating/cooling ducted system as well as a beautiful Kinarra we use in winter. There are also verandahs at the front and back of the house where you can unwind and enjoy the garden.

Weekly rental costs include fully furnished bedroom/s, electricity, gas & water, all bed linen, bath towels, access to Wi-Fi and access to breakfast items, should you wish to have food provided for lunch and dinner, we can certainly accommodate you with these meals and agree upon costs weekly for this.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO HOST FROM 23RD DECEMBER, 2025 TO 28TH JANUARY, 2026

We’re a friendly, easygoing family who enjoy spending time together—whether it’s over a chat or a home-cooked meal. At the same time, we respect your need for personal space and quiet time.

A little about us:

I work part-time in aged and disability care.

My husband works full-time in home automation.

We have three grown-up children—two currently live at home, and the eldest is returning from travelling soon.

I love gardening, growing herbs and veggies, and cooking healthy, fresh meals from all kinds of cuisines—Greek, Italian, Indian, Vietnamese, you name it!

As a family, we like family connections, we like to meet new people, we enjoy meeting people from all different cultures and backgrounds and we all have different ways to unwind and keep fit, we enjoy walking, cycling, going to the beach, camping, exploring Melbourne, and just being outdoors.

If you're looking for a welcoming, respectful, and relaxed home during your stay in Melbourne, we'd love to hear from you!
