About this homestay
1 furnished room available in a three-bedroom house in Beaumaris. We are ideally looking for an adult (18+), and someone for a long erm stay. But feel free to message about your situation.
You will be living with me - a 70yo retired English teacher (female), and my nephew - 34-year-old student and archivist (male), as well as two cats (one of whom lives outside of the house, and the other stays downstairs away from the bedrooms). We appreciate a relatively quiet and clean home and are looking for a guest who appreciates the same. My nephew is a good cook who enjoys making regular meals, and the price can be altered to accommodate a guest wanting meals included. We are very friendly and able to provide support to an international student who may require assistance with navigating life in Melbourne.
The room is fully furnished with a single futon bed (brand new mattress), wardrobe for clothing, as well as built in wardrobe for extra storage. There is enough room for a desk and chair and can be provided. Bathroom is located across from the room and is newly renovated and has a bathtub and shower.
A 4-minute walk to the 825 bus which will take you to Holmesglen Institute, Moorabbin. The 922 bus is a 10-minute walk and will take you to Sandringham Station, where trains run regularly into the city.
