Hello, my name is Asam and I am from Oman. I am currently 17 years old and will turn 18 this April. This is my first year in Australia and I am studying in the Foundation Program at RMIT University. My long-term goal is to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, so I am very focused on my education and future.
I am a friendly and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I like trying new things and participating in different activities. I am also an athletic person and I enjoy playing sports, working out, and going to the gym. Staying healthy and active is important to me.
I am well-organized and responsible. I always keep my room clean and tidy because it helps me stay focused on my goals and studies. I respect shared spaces and like to live in a calm and positive environment. I also care about the people around me and try to be helpful and considerate.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring Melbourne, spending time outdoors, and having friendly conversations. I have a good sense of humor and like to create a positive atmosphere. Although I am not very experienced in cooking, I enjoy trying new foods and would be happy to experience home-cooked meals. I also really enjoy drinking tea throughout the day.
My English level is good and I am comfortable communicating with others. My main aim in Australia is to succeed in my studies while also enjoying new cultural experiences and making meaningful connections.
